VALUE ADDED BENEFITS

We are here to help you grow.

The process of Accreditation can be a daunting task, especially if you have never undergone the process before. At CAC, we understand that in order to succeed you need to have access to both documents to help with the process as well as people to help you along the way. It's for these reasons that we have included a multitude of benefits, many of which are unique to CAC.

FREE HALF DAY SESSION

When starting out with accreditation it can feel like you are by yourself. At CAC we try to make sure that no organization that decides to use our services for Accreditation feels that way. After your application and fee have been received by us, we can help you book your Free Half Day Session with your CORE Support Staff. This meeting is designed to let you meet our staff and know who you will be talking to when you have questions about the Standards as well as who will be helping guide you through the process. During this meeting you will be given the opportunity to choose how your session will progress. Our CORE Support personnel can spend time talking to all of your staff or only those who will be participating in the accreditation. They can also explain the Standards as well as the process that will be undertaken and they are also more than happy to answer any questions you may have about Accreditation and CAC. During this half day session, all of our expertise is at your disposal.

PRE-SITE EVALUATION

No other accrediting body will give you the opportunity to participate in a Pre-Site Evaluation of your Policies and Procedures Manual, a practice we believe to be invaluable to the organizations undergoing accreditation. During the Pre-Site the review team that we have
assigned to your program will review the Self-Study that you have completed, comparing it to your Policies and Procedures Manual, Narratives, as well as the Forms and other Documentation you have provided to them. They will compare this documentation to the Standards and provide a comprehensive overview of the strengths of your Documents as well as any areas that need to be addressed. Every organization has the opportunity to listen to the conference call while the Pre-Site is being conducted and can use the feedback from the meeting to continue the journey towards excellence.

The Pre-Site is conducted approximately 2 months before the On-Site Evaluation, providing the organization the chance to use the information gained from the Pre-Site to evaluate their programs before the On-Site. Including the Pre-Site Evaluation in the Accreditation Process is one more way that we try to help you succeed in your goals.

EXTENSIVE TRAINING CENTRE

Training is crucial to the success of any organization and we believe in providing your organization with training to make the process as easy to understand as possible. We have a wide range of training programs designed to help organizations understand the accreditation process and provide specialized help with the standards. We pride ourselves in our belief and dedication to a completely transparent process and to continue to ensure that our process is as transparent as possible we continue to provide training that will fully disclose to any organization what we expect. We also provide training to become a Reviewer and a Team Lead for CAC, which can give an organization a different perspective on the accreditation process, understanding what the people who come On-Site will be evaluating.

In addition to training developed for our standards and process, we also offer EMP First Aid Training, Suicide Intervention Training, Self-Harm Training, Medication Administration Training, and Diversity and Inclusion at Work. These trainings do not need to be taken with CAC but if you choose to use our programs we can either host the session or go directly out to you to deliver the training. To explore the range of training we have available, please view our Training Centre. The details of all our training are available there. If you are interested in booking training with us, please contact CAC at 780-424-4498.

UNLIMITED PERSONAL SUPPORT

Our Office Staff and CORE Support personnel are always willing to help you to answer any questions you may have about the process. Please call us with any questions or concerns you may have during our office hours or send an email to any of our staff at any time and we will reply as soon as we can. We are here to support you through every step because you are not alone. To find out about our office hours or for the contact information of our staff, please visit the Contact Us section.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES WITH SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS

We have many organizations who have excelled at the Accreditation Process and are more than willing to share their expertise with organizations who may just be starting out. For organizations that would like to network with an organization that is similar to theirs, we are more than willing to help put you in touch with someone you can talk to. Many organizations believe in our process and are willing to give you another perspective of the Accreditation Process.

RESOURCE ROOM

In our Resource Room, we keep several Policy and Procedure Manuals (with full permission) from organizations who have excelled in the Accreditation Process as examples for organizations who may need some help. Any organization is free to access the Resource Room whenever they wish, we only ask that you let us know ahead of time so we know when to expect you.

FREE ELECTRONIC COPY OF OUR STANDARDS

We never want to charge for anything that an organization needs in order to achieve success and excellence. Because of that philosophy, we will always have an electronic copy of our Standards available to each and every organization. Any organization that shows interest in learning about our Standards is welcome to have a copy of the Standards to review before they apply. As well, the emailed copy will always be provided free of charge for any organization wishing to review the changes that have been made. Our Standards are also available in hard copy and on a USB for a minimal fee.

COMPETITIVE PRICE

At CAC we pride ourselves on providing quality service for your money as well as remaining competitive in our pricing. For that reason we base our prices on the budgets of your programs, not the entire organization and our On-Site fees are some of the lowest among all of the accrediting bodies. We also disclose all of our fees to you up front, with no hidden costs. If you would like to learn more about how our fees work, please click here.

RECOGNITION OF ACHIEVEMENT

Every organization who achieves a successful accreditation with CAC is awarded a Certificate and a Plaque to commemorate their accomplishments. As well, they are all provided with an electronic copy of our Accreditation Seal to use for website display as well as publications. We are proud to share your successes and we will provide these to you at no cost.
