TRAINING CENTRE


NEW! We will now be offering our EMP First Aid, Self-Harm and Suicide Intervention Training Sessions on weekends starting in September. If you are interested in booking a session, please contact Lindsay at lmclintock@cacohs.com.

We are thrilled to offer an exciting new addition to our Accreditation Services - The CAC Training Centre.

Our Training Centre is designed to offer a wide range of classes to help with the Accreditation Process, from training with the Standards to First Aid training. Please follow the links below to learn about the diverse classes we offer and continue to watch for new classes we have in development. We have also included links to other organizations who provide training and resources which can be utilized in the development of your organization and programs.

Orientation To Accreditation Introduction to the Accreditation Process and what is involved in accreditation with CAC
Training Modules In-depth sessions exploring the Accreditation Process
Reviewer Training A step-by-step walk-through of the entire Accreditation Process for our volunteer reviewers
Team Lead Training In-depth look at the Standards and Accreditation Process for those who excel in leadership skills
EMP First Aid Training First Aid Training is available to anyone who is interested in learning the valuable skills that could save a life
Self-Harm Training 1/2 day workshop that teaches about the issues surrounding Self-Harm and how to support someone who exhibits the behaviour
Suicide Awareness Training 1/2 day workshop that helps individuals understand the issues, identify the situation and report to the proper authorities
Suicide Intervention/Self-Harm Training Full day workshop that combines that provides Suicide Intervention Training as well as Self-Harm Training
Medication Administration Training 1/2 day workshop that teaches the standards and procedures around medication delivery
Other Organization's Training A variety of training that is offered by other organizations
Other Organization's Conferences A variety of conferences that are upcoming for other organizations
