TEAM LEAD TRAINING
Team Lead training is specifically designed for those
reviewers who are willing to take on the leadership role
within the review team, understand the intent, meaning
and implementation of standards, are enthusiastic about the
benefits of accreditation and have been a reviewer on
two or more reviews.
This training will allow those with a passion for supporting
vulnerable children and families, the opportunity to gain
even greater insight into the accreditation process. Team
Leads are responsible for the management of the review process itself – including overseeing the duties and
responsibilities of the team members, facilitating
discussion towards consensus in team decision making
sessions, sharing preliminary findings with program staff,
speaking on behalf of the team, and dealing with any issues
arising between staff or persons served and team members.
Team Leads provide direction, operate from a strong
knowledge base and are responsible for maintaining the
integrity of the accreditation process. Due to the extensive
nature of the position, the Team Lead training is spread
over three parts, each providing further information about
standards, interpretation and the responsibilities of the
Team Leads.
