Alberta: The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate provides individual and systemic advocacy for children and youth receiving services under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act (Enhancement Act) and the Protection of Children Involved in Prostitution Act (PChIP Act). It also provides training and support to individuals, organizations and communities interested in advocating for vulnerable children and families
The Child Welfare League of Canada (CWLC) is a membership based, national organization dedicated to promoting the protection and well-being of vulnerable young people. CWLC plays a significant role in promoting best practices among those in the field of child welfare, children’s mental health and youth justice.
Imagine Canada is the result of a union of two of Canada’s leading charitable umbrella organizations: the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy (CCP), and the Coalition of National Voluntary Organizations (NVO) that delivers research, shapes public policy, and delivers tools, resources and networking opportunities directly to nonprofits and charities.
