HEALTH AND SAFETY
The fundamental principle behind the Health and Safety
standards is to protect the emotional, physical, cultural,
spiritual and medical needs of each and every individual
requiring services. CAC standards are reflective of the
level of commitment, integrity and compassion dedicated to
those who are unable to meet their own needs for a variety
of reasons. This module allows programs to understand the
fundamental reasons that the standards were created, the
manner in which they can be incorporated into a program and
the risks faced by organizations should proper care and
attention not be paid. |
