EVALUATION AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
‘Outcomes’, ‘evaluation’, and ‘quality improvement’ are
words that can strike fear in even the most experiences of
organizations. Evaluation is inherent in quality improvement
which is the continuous cycle of setting goals, evaluating
performance changing strategies and evaluation impact. While
all programs constantly examine their performance, this
module is designed to have that process become more
conscious and purposeful. CAC offers an overview of the
intent and meaning of the concepts and some practical ways
to create and maintain the processes to gather outcomes,
analyze data, identify trends and develop corrective plans.
CAC works with the organization to create and fine-tune
tools, process and the system used to ensure that they are
working effectively to achieve ‘best practices’. |
