The first step in the accreditation process is to submit
your
Application and
Application Fee. This application will
ask a variety of questions, such as the organization's
location, annual budget, whether the program is tax exempt
or not and the programs that will are being submitted to be
accredited. The application also includes the agreement that
the organization will be making with CAC.
The Application and Agreement mark the beginning of the
accreditation process for any organization who wishes to
undertake accreditation through CAC. The accreditation
process will end when either:
|
 |
The organization undergoing the
process is accredited |
 |
The organization undergoing the
process is denied and the organization chooses not
to continue |
 |
The organization has not
completed an on-site review within 2 years of the
authorized signatory signing the agreement |
 |
The process is terminated by
either the organization or CAC |
|
Once the Application and Agreement are
submitted with the application fee, this gives us the
opportunity to work with organizations to set up the
preliminary timelines. These timelines include:
|
 |
Meeting with the organization |
 |
Pre-site meeting |
 |
On-site review |
