The ASN is a system that works solely on the internet, so no software has to be downloaded in order to use it. You can access it from anywhere that you have an internet connection and it is completely secure. It includes an in-system email, a forum on which you can comment, a calendar to show upcoming events and training sessions, instant chat in order to talk to other people on the system, and a wealth of training materials and standards at your fingertips.

The system is designed with your organization in mind as well. Not only have we designed this system to take into account the accreditation process, we have also thought about the needs of the organizations who work with us. This system is not only designed for you to communicate with us, it's designed for you to communicate with each other. With features like a shared calendar system and instant messaging, everyone in an organization, whether all in the same building or spread across the country, can keep in touch. And even better than that, the entire system is managed and updated by CAC, with a continued presence available to help with any technical questions that may arise. The administrators at CAC do not have access to your accounts - only the members of the ASN have access to their own accounts.

We are excited to have launched the ASN for all of our organizations. The system is unique to CAC and will only get better with time. We are continually working on improving the applications available to our organizations, not to mention listening to your ideas and building them into the system. This system is about you - our volunteers and our organizations. It's one more way that we're adding value to your accreditation experience.
